IMDRite...

this poem is written by one of my classmate for the "Alumni Meet 2009"...with her permission, i am reproducing it here...thanks a lot Minu for such a contribution...

We are happy the way we are,
The family , the office and the bar.
The extent of personal satisfaction varies,
But we are moving where the life carries.
There is no other option but to cling ‘on’,
Lets ask from our hearts – ‘is that really so’.
Turn back and reflect to a point,
Of a time when you had maximum of life.
Those two years ,though not elite,
We were proud to be called an IMDRite.
The bodhi tree stands tall and erect,
Above the shining gems and the intellects.
The t.t. room gathers all the fun around,
Common room echoes with utmost sound.
15000 books of the library makes you the bond,
We’re sure u’ll never forget the placement ‘pond’.
Free or engrossed , we were the bite bugs,
In the canteen which is our infamous hap hub.
SDLS is the demand and the only option,
There could be no other way to find one’s passion,
Surely you have still more corners to fall upon,
So we want you urself to look back at the dawn.
To the outer world, the org might seem tiny,
But it has its primacy only on its ALUMNI.
So to watch the horizons meet again in majesty,
We look forward to see all our alumni committee.
